Landscape Photographer of the Year 2020 ini merupakan kompetesi foto lanskap dunia yang telah memasuki tahun ketiga belas dan menjadi kompetisi fotografi yang paing bergengsi di Inggris. Kompetisi kelas dunia ini digagas oleh seorang fotografer lanskap terkemuka Charlie Waite. Charlie menyediakan platform berkelanjutan untuk para fotografer lanskap mengabadikan gambar yang paling melambangkan lanskap kekinian dan dicatat oleh dunia. Charlie telah mengambil foto secara profesional selama lebih dari 50 tahun dan mapan sebagai salah satu fotografer lanskap internasional paling terkenal di dunia. Dia telah menerbitkan 28 buku tentang fotografi dan telah mengadakan lebih dari 30 pameran tunggal di Eropa, Amerika Serikat, Jepang dan Australia.
